"Man I am having such a blast reading this series and book two was even better than book 1. Man the more I get to know the 4 kings, the more I fall in love with them. Leon is winning at the top of my list meanwhile book 1 it was rider. The book is so well written that you can actually understand why it’s hard for Elise to make a choice between the 4 men. That being said, her steamy relationship and intimacy with Leon was hot hot hot!!!!! I love this series because the story is not just about Elise but equally about the 4 kings and their relations to one another. Even the side characters and their stories are amazing. Just when you think you might guess the culprit, the situation becomes more convoluted and other characters are added to the lists of suspects. I definitely can’t wait to see what’s next. ["

"This was just as good as the first book. We were given more clues, but that also gave us more question. I love the mystery element, but the romance is just as amazingly epic. Leon will forever be my favorite I think. Dante grew on me in this book. You can tell he really cares for Elise because he whole heartily shows it in this book. Also, Ryder had grown on me as well. You get to see his macho mask start to chip, and I am here for it! Gabriel I’m still not sure how I feel about because sometimes I love him and other times I want to slap him. The mystery is so much more than I could have expected, and I cannot wait to see what happens next. There also so much more that’s brewing now too as this book ended. I’m my heart raced while reading the end because I didn’t know who was going to make it to book 3. Lastly, the spice is there in this one. I would say it turned up a notch on the actual smelt scenes in this one. We still have those hot, steamy moments as well. The teasing and teasing and when you finally think something will happen it’s pulled away. There were a few scenes that were explicit in chapters 5 (oral), 26, 30 (brief, vision), 35. This book again is very plot driven so if you aren’t a huge spice reader, you can still enjoy it. I can’t wait to see what the gang gets up to in book 3😍 ["

"I liked this more than the first one. Parts were really good. I like Ryder and Gabriel and am less interested in Dante and way less interested in Leon. I did like the scene with Leon’s family. That was fun. The series is getting interesting, but there are so many small storylines line they don’t feel well developed. There are small scenes that are really interesting and then parts that drag. There are so many spicy scenes that I’m not that interested in. Probably because I don’t care for half the guys. ["
