First things first, Stark did not disappoint when she said the spice rating increases with each book. I’m here to tell you it most definitely did, and Lorian will be your next book boyfriend. He is sweet and knows when to push Prisca and when to support her, but he has a wickedly wonderful mouth 🥵 Second, this book has so much going on and multiple POVs to help feed into the story and move it along from different angles, which I loved. Getting glimpses into the side characters provided a lot of depth to the plot and gave you so much more to root for! Maybe it’s just me, but I just find the time magic component of the story to be so intriguing and unique! I love when the magic comes into play and the plotting and scheming unfolds, like in the final battle scene of the book 😳 I thought the writing for this series has been fantastic, and Stark provides a lot of depth to each character and growth over time. Book three provides POVs from Prisca, Lorian, Asinia, Madinia, and the Queen, which allows you to see how they all have major roles that will impact the outcome of the war and they all attack from different fronts. Madinia circulating propaganda to rally the people, Asinia to try to recruit rebel forces to join their armies, Prisca and Lorian attempting to take down the barrier, the Queen working against her husband in secret, all of it provided a glimpse into the different sides of the story and I could not get enough! AND LETS NOT FORGET THAT INSANE CLIFFHANGER!!!! 🤯😠😭😬 ["

"I LOVE this series, I swear it just gets better with every book. And WHAT AN ENDING, Prisca is one of my favorite characters and her power is so unique. The whole world is quite it’s own spectacle with the fae, humans and hybrids. Our villain, The King of Eprotha, is also quite the character, his big scheme spans centuries and it’s quite clever. The multiple POVs are also a main highlight, now we have a new couple to root for, and maybe a nice future for Madinia, who knows what the queen will face next too. I recommend this series if you enjoy ACOTAR, and the Red Queen series. Full of rebellions, magic and court-intrigue. ["
