The Dark Is Descending: A Nytefall Novel (Nytefall Trilogy, 3)

by K.A. Linde
The world teeters on the brink of total annihilation as the final war between humans and vampires reaches its breaking point. Reyna Carpenter, once a mere blood escort for the enigmatic and dangerous Beckham Anderson, finds her carefully constructed life in ruins. Following the collapse of their plans and the occupation of their city by the vampire elite, Reyna and her inner circle are forced into a desperate flight for survival.
Stripped of everything she once held dear, Reyna faces the ultimate test of her resolve. The fragile, volatile connection between her and Beckham is pushed to its limits as they navigate a landscape of betrayal and mounting casualties. With humanity’s future hanging in the balance, Reyna must transform from a pawn into a leader, rising from the ashes of her past to reclaim her agency.
As the final battle looms, she is forced to confront the truth of her mission and decide what she is willing to sacrifice for a chance at freedom. In this high-stakes conclusion, the line between predator and prey blurs, and Reyna must determine if love can survive the fire of a revolution that threatens to consume them all.
AndreiaA page turner:lots of suspense, amazing character chemistry, a fantastic plot and an epic love story
"Wow. This series is EPIC! Blood Cure picks up right after the Blood Match events and even though we had to wait for a month to read this series conclusion, I was shocked after that crushing cliffhanger and I remained in shock when I started reading it. So, the book starts a little chaotic as it should after that Blood Match ending, and even though it lessens its fast pace through the middle of the book, it picks it up again with a few events that are, to say the least, mind blowing. Blood Cure is a page turner, with lots of suspense, lessons of true loyalty, amazing character chemistry, a fantastic plot and an epic love story, it kept me guessing "Who, what, when?!" and I was so invested in Reyna's feelings, her strength, Elle's fate, Gabe and Meghan, I loved to get to know Washington's back-story, and I just wanted to jump right in and help them to take Visage and Harrington down! I'm very curious about Graves and I'm hoping that maybe we'll get a awesome new series with him. Blood Match, the second book in this series, remains my favorite but Blood Cure is definitely a stunning series finale and just when I thought I knew how it was going to end... BAM! K.A. Linde is an amazing story teller and the Blood Type series is definitely a must read. ["

"We pick up after the New Year’s Eve shooting and bombing the bunker of Elle. We didn’t know what had happened to David and Laura since they were at the bunker. Nor what happened to Brian, after being taken during a raid that turned into a trap. With what’s left of Reyna’s family in the wind I didn’t know if she would be able to carry on or give in to Harrington. Will Reyna find her family in time to save them? What became of Beckham? Will Elle be able to regroup and over throw Harrington and all of Visage? Blood Cure was the conclusion of the Blood Type Series and did not disappoint. It was fast paced edgy romance that should not be skipped. Each chapter something new came to light and you were able to see how much stronger Beckham and Reyna grew. You could see how much Beckham didn’t want Reyna in the face of danger, but that he trusted her. I loved the fact that they could feel and share each other's emotions and powers. The bond that they have, was one I truly loved and it was written magically. I am sad this series is over. I didn’t think I would get so attached to a series, especially one that was based on paranormal setting. Though if there was one thing that I was hoping for in the end was to see several years in the future of what their kids would be like and what happens in the future. Who knows maybe there will be a Novella, or maybe I will have to dream up what happened during the next decade. Thanks, NetGalley for the ARC ["

"Not how I expected it to end. I guess my choice would have been different and because I still had questions. Having said that the trilogy is worth the read. ["

"This is the final book in a series of three. This is not a standalone book and should not be read as such. The book continues right where book two leaves off. Reyna has just witnessed the most horrible thing possible and is left feeling empty. All she has now is the will to fight. She cannot stop to think, she has to move forward. Beckham has to prove he will do anything to get back to Reyna. Their connection is too strong to be broken. Their connection keeps them together and getting to one another. If you’ve read the first two books, this one will blow your mind. I normally don’t read paranormal but this series is out of this world good. Loved every single minute of it and I’m sad it’s over. ["
