Dire Bound

Jane Margaux leads a life of polished isolation. As the daughter of a high-powered Broadway producer, her childhood was defined by fleeting, weekly visits to Tiffany’s and the constant presence of Michael, a charming, witty, and steadfast imaginary friend. He was her only confidant, a sanctuary from her mother’s cold ambition, until he vanished from her life exactly as promised when she reached adulthood.
Decades later, Jane is a successful but deeply unfulfilled woman navigating the pressures of New York society. Her ordered world fractures when she encounters Michael in the flesh—as vibrant, handsome, and perceptive as the memories she suppressed. The connection between them is immediate and electric, defying logic and challenging everything Jane understands about reality.
Yet, as their bond deepens into a profound romance, a haunting mystery lingers: Michael has returned for a specific, hidden purpose that threatens the fragile life Jane has built. Caught between the comfort of the past and the uncertainty of a future that shouldn't exist, Jane must determine if their reunion is a miraculous gift or a final, devastating goodbye. It is a story of soul-deep connection, challenging the thin veil between imagination and destiny.

JaeStrange, Heartfelt and Beautiful....!
"Yes, this book does seem a little strange at first. But, for those people... who haven't let the world jade them yet, they will fall in love with this book. Michael, is the definition of the 'perfect man'....he's there for you, he says the right things and he is a protector. Then there is, Jane, she is 'every woman' who compares themselves to those walking stick pinups that abound show business and magazines, she's a woman who is trying to live up to an overpowering mother and a tosser of an overrated actor/boyfriend, who thinks he is doing her a favor by being with her and is using sweet, Jane, as a stepping stone to further his own career. Sundays at Tiffany's, is a fairy tale for adults and sometimes we have to remember that it's still all right to have fantasies and dreams. This book made me feel so much....and it is very rare that a book makes me feel for the characters when reading it. I can read this book over and over again and still feel thankful for reading it...even after multiple reads. I loved it. Please, don't be perverted or cynical when reading this, let yourself go and enjoy the innocence of Jane and Michael! ["

SuzecatA Fresh Concept
"I have to say that this book was delightful despite the fact that it doesn't quite get to the realm of suspending disbelief. (Well, maybe for a few moments I did allow that to happen). These days I find it very refreshing to have writers attempt something less scorching, less frightening and yet compelling. In the age in which a book can't seem to get in enough guts and gore to please, this offers a coffee sundae with the old fashioned fudge topping that used to get sticky after it chilled. I'm old enough to have tasted it both in my life and now in this lovely book. I read my share of mystery and drama and this was a wonderful relief from that particular brand of suspense. If you love Nantucket, you will love the local references. This IS a book that one will want to read at one sitting, even if life interferes. My only disappointment was that they felt compelled to end the way that they did on the last page. I wonder how other readers will respond to it. (And I will get over it; the book is still lovely). Thanks for writing it; it was brave to do that in this world that demands such different reality. ["

Zara BlackwoodAbsolute favorite of mine! Great for young and old readers!
"The main character is in her 30s but I read this back when I was still a teenager. Do not let the famous murder mystery author fool you, he writes a very heartwarming creative love story you will never forget! When I got married I gifted my bridesmaids romance books and this was one of them. Still a favorite of mine! ["
