About this book

Oli is no longer the defenseless outcast of Draven Campus. With her dormant gift finally awakened, the power dynamic shifts, forcing her former tormentors to reckon with a girl who is no longer easy to break. Yet, her newfound strength brings a dangerous volatility that threatens to consume her from the inside out.

As destiny pulls her inexorably toward the five men bound to her by fate, the tension between them burns hotter than ever. While Oli fights to maintain her independence and distance, her Bonds—possessive, lethal, and desperate—are closing ranks to ensure she never slips away again. Their volatile history of betrayal and longing complicates every interaction, turning every touch into a battle of wills.

Beyond the magnetic pull of her complicated romances, a sinister threat looms. The Resistance, a shadow organization closer than anyone dared to imagine, is orchestrating a move that could shatter the fragile peace at the academy. Caught between the men who claim her and an enemy that wants to destroy her, Oli must master her volatile magic before it destroys her first.

In a world of shifting loyalties and deadly secrets, the only thing more dangerous than her enemies might just be her own heart.

I can't get enough of these books

"Book Review:Savage Bonds by J. Bree Savage Bonds is the second book in the bonds that tie series that continues to follow Oli after the cliffhanger of that first book finding out that Oli indeed has powers that are beyond even those of her bonds. Even though some of her secrets have come to the light she still refuses to bond with all these insanely hot and moody men. She is now tasked with keeping her bonds at an arms length while also keeping her secrets about the resistance so no one gets hurt. What I Liked: • I love the family she is beginning to form with those closest to her. Sage and Sawyer offer moments for Oli to just be a girl in collage and to watch how she interacts with those not tied to her. On that note I love how the side characters have their own love interest and story line. They add depth to the story and they are not just there to help Oli through her journey. • Brutus and August are going to always be my favorite characters throughout the books. They are top tier with how they interact with Oli and I love how she doesn’t think twice about reaching out to them while everyone around her are shitting their pants. What I Didn’t Like: • Unfortunately I was not a big fan with how Oli continued to have this savior complex and would put her in situations that could potentially kill her when her bonds are begging to know what she is hiding. Like if she had one conversation about what she knows Overall Thoughts: J Bree’s writing in this books continues to be beautifully descriptive and the characters are still growing and changing. The plot is fast-paced and addictive, keeping readers hooked with the ups and downs of being the central to 5 bonds that cant stop protecting you. Overall,Savage Bonds is one crazy ride that left my head spinning with that ending. Will I be hoping right into the third book? Absolutely. Am I so glad that I am reading this series after they have all been published? Also yesss. No waiting time necessary for me. Rating: ★★★★★ My rating system: ★- DNF ★★- Finished but it was a struggle ★★★- It was a good book but probably would not read again ★★★★- It was good and I would read it again ★★★★★- Brain shattering and I need every copy made if this book ["

Dynamic Shift

"In “Savage Bonds,” the dynamics shift as the heroine finally begins to claim power and dignity. She’s no longer the “giftless reject.” Instead, she’s growing into someone dangerous and that brings both empowerment and new threats. The balance between vulnerability and strength deepens, and the emotional undercurrents intensify as loyalties and danger rise. This installment expands the paranormal world, gives more clarity to powers, and shows the bonds between characters evolving emotionally and magically. The tension ramps up: betrayal, growing trust, and the slow burn romance continue to captivate. The pacing is a bit uneven in moments, with a lot of build-up before major shifts happen. But overall, “Savage Bonds” strengthens the foundation and pushes the plot forward in compelling ways. If you loved the first book’s raw emotion, this one doubles down. ["

Amazing!!!! Love this series!

"Ok yet again this book was amazing!!! We finally got some smut and we got some more character development and building relationships between Oli and some of her bonds. I yet again read this book in under 24 hours I just could not put it down. There were so many scenes that I was laughing out loud and just loved all the characters. Some spoilers to come so continue reading if you dont mind spoilers! * * * * * * * * * * * * Ok so I had so many favorite scenes in this book and we also learned so many new things about Oli and even though you learned new things that we were questioning in book 1 we now have more things that need to be answered from the end of this book. So some favorite scenes... 1. Oli now has one of Nox's nightmares. Little Brutus! I just love him!!! 2. Oli needing to smell all her bonds so Gabe stole clothes and pillows from them all for her 3. She is now on a sleeping schedule with all the guys and my favorite moment of her sleeping in their rooms was with Nox. I loved that all his nightmare creatures came out to sleep around her and she overheard North and Nox's conversation. 4. When North thought one of his nightmare creatures was about to attack Oli and she put him in his place and now kind of has another nightmare puppy. August! And everyone was in disbelief because North's nightmares are rabid! 5. Oli bonding with Gryphon <3 I was so happy! And then North busting in the room hahaha 6. North helping Oli when Sage calls her in a panic and letting August out to help her as well when she asked 7. North ordering coffee for Oli and Sage and knowing Oli's exact crazy order. This is my current ranking of the boys from my favorite to least currently... 1. Gryphon: I just love Gryphon! I am so glad that he was her first official bonded. I also love that he pays attention to Oli's needs and sticks up for her when other girls are around like North's secretary and puts a stop to Nox bringing random girls to dinner 2. North: It is very hard for me to pick between him and Gryphon right now especially how North was at the end of this book. I think he is finally seeing that Oli isnt some brat kid who ran away from her bonds and I hope they can figure things out soon! 3. Gabe: It is still hard for me to see Gabe as a love interest because I see him as a best friend for Oli and a little brother to all the other bonds, but I really like how things are going with him and I hope to start seeing a different side from Gabe other than just the boy next door. 4. Atlas: So I do enjoy Atlas and appreciate that he is always there for Oli and on her side, but now that it was revealed his family is part of the resistance and his father was there at the end of the book when Oli again is captured by the resistance, he has some serious explaining to do! 5. Nox: We still have not seen much from Nox to be able to understand why he is the way he is with Oli when all the other bonds seem to be able to move past her leaving them so I am hoping we get to see more of him and Oli in the next book and I have a feeling I will end up loving their relationship! So overall I am obsessed with this series and can not wait to see how book three brings to us! ["

I’ve been on edge the entire time while reading this book!

"If I thought the 1st book was amazing, the 2nd book blew it out of the park! Exhilarating is the best word to describe book 2! And damn they leave you on the best cliffhangers. I’m soooo glad I found this when the series is already complete, and there’s lots of books in the series. I devoured both books in less than 24 hours, and I’m off for the next several days? I’m immersing myself in this series. I’ve so glad that I finally got Kindle Unlimited right before I found this series because I’d be throwing all my money to keeps continuing this series. The spice was very low, maybe more of a slight simmer in book one. But book 2 brings the spice. Not a lot, but I really like slow burns for a long series, and the story is so dang good that I honestly didn’t miss it very much. Which says a lot because I normally like my books as filthy as the plot is deep, dark. This book has everything. And plot twists and surprises I never expected. Like I was shooketh who and why she bonded with 1st. And the characters development is getting really good. I don’t get why people are saying that she’s victimized herself too much. I feel like everything she’s been stripped of and is battling with is completely justified, not to mention she’s always only worried about everyone else dying… not her. Soooo, take that as you will. Just go in knowing you’re going to want to wait till you have plenty of time to read this book because you will get absorbed into this story. There’s no filler, everything that happens in part of the plot. I didn’t once get bored enough to skim read or put the book down. ["
