Fallen Demon: Deluxe Limited Edition (Hell Bent)
Aurora Ascher
by Jaysea Lynn
Lily’s transition into the Afterlife is anything but peaceful, yet she quickly discovers that the realm beyond is far more chaotic and vibrant than any legend suggested. Instead of fading into obscurity, Lily embraces the absurdity of her new reality, leveraging her razor-sharp wit and seasoned customer service skills to land a job processing souls within the bureaucratic nightmare of Hell. In this underworld of deities and fae, Lily finds an unexpected anchor in Bel, a formidable demon general whose commanding presence is matched only by his dangerously alluring voice.
Their connection begins as a tentative, healing friendship, but the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore, simmering with a tension that threatens to consume them both. As they navigate their complicated dynamic, a dark, encroaching force begins to destabilize the boundaries of their world. With the stability of the Afterlife on the brink of collapse, Lily and Bel must bridge the gap between their disparate existences to confront a threat that could erase everything they have fought to build.
In a landscape where magic defies logic and death is merely a beginning, their burgeoning romance becomes the catalyst for a battle to save the only home they have left.
BrittanyA Stunning Masterpiece That Had Me in a Chokehold
"If I could give this book more than five stars, I would. For Whom the Belle Tolls had me in an absolute chokehold from page one. Like many, I originally discovered this story through Jaysea’s hilarious TikTok skits, and I am beyond impressed with how perfectly she made this world come to life. The skits themselves were incredibly funny, but seeing them translate so seamlessly and fantastically onto the written page was an absolute treat. On a deeper, more personal level, this book hit a lot of buttons for me. Growing up within purity culture, reading this felt profound. It almost felt like it healed a part of my inner child, beautifully reinforcing the message that it is truly okay to not be okay. Beyond the emotional impact, the amount of descriptive detail Jaysea poured into her writing is nothing short of stunning. It is eloquent, beautiful, and, quite frankly, I have not read a book with such rich detail in a very long time—it genuinely reminded me a lot of Tolkien. As a bonus, the audiobook is epic and amazing, adding another incredible layer to the whole experience. I already cannot wait for book two and book three. Jaysea, I hope you get as many book series as you want, girl, because you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! ["

"I can’t even describe how much I LOVED this book! Literally everything I want in a book - fantastic chemistry, realistic relationship building, sassy badass female lead, a plot that flows beautifully, conflict that pulls at the readers empathy while not being overly emotionally damaging (although a few tears were certainly shed), PLUS the adorable male lead, cozy vibes and beautifully written/timed spice, not to mention is based in the afterlife??! I also really enjoyed the take on what the afterlife looks like as the world building really mirrored how I tend to view what afterlife would look like. I could literally go on and on and how amazing this book is, but overall it was incredibly charming, lighthearted, and satisfyingly romantic book with more than enough comedic edge that I will 100% be adding to my yearly rereading. Once I finished I just had to go back and reread all of my favorite parts because I was not ready to let go. I am also realllyyy hoping there are or will be plans for another book in the future extending to other characters (really shooting for Greg or Lev to be next with their romantic endeavors) with the ending. My only slightest disappointment was not getting a glimpse of what Bel and Lily’s future will look like with a baby/ children, but that could certainly be incorporated into another book 😉 ["

Amazon CustomerImpactful, Gloriously Beautiful, Touching
"I knew this book would hit me upside the head with emotions and intensity before I read it. I have followed the story on TikTok and fell head over heels for the characters within. What I had not realized was the degree to which this story would settle into my chest and bloom. I cried within the first 15 pages. Barely restricted tears kept popping up time and time again as this tale unfolded. The love story that brings these characters together is one founded on intimacy. Not the lustful kind, though, as the book and characters establish, there is a great deal of lust present. No, their love story is one founded on the deep intimacy of sharing. Of knowing. Of experiencing. They fall in love smoothly, believably, gloriously. There is no doubt throughout the book that this pairing makes sense. They are not two hot people the author shoved together because they thought it would be fun. This book screams of characters that come together because they were meant to; the author simply communicated how. Beyond the romance of this story is a rich world, filled with a perspective on the Afterlife that I would like to believe is reality. The ideas within are both comforting and challenging. I found myself having to sit with the complex emotions that came up around the experiences the characters had in life, as well as their post-death reactions to it. I sat with the familiarity of their thought-processes. I sat with the fears. I sat with the doubts. I sat with the way these characters addressed these feelings. Inspired. This book is not going to be for you if you are not comfortable with adult romance that comes with explicit, open-door scenes of adults engaging in adult activities. These, I must say, are a fun addition to the compelling romance that is fueling them, but are not the core of this couple. Just to be clear. This book also likely will not be for you if you are someone who gets offended by the themes of deconstruction from Christianity, or who is opposed to a non-biblical version of events. These are things that I, personally, love about this book, but if you don't, just move along. Finally, this book addresses some pretty awful events. Triggering events. Ones that are more discussed as existing, but are not described in detail, thankfully. Still, they might leave a hollow feeling in your chest if you are not prepared for that. Read the author's note at the beginning and decide for yourself how much you are comfortable with. As someone who experienced several of the things listed, I will simply add that I did not personally find it overwhelming or upsetting. I have been in therapy for many years, but I think that the author did a beautiful job of addressing these subjects respectfully and empathetically. Overall, I found this book to be exactly as my title describes. Impactful. I have more things to journal about and bring in to therapy because of this book, in the best possible way. I found the love story and individual characters to be gloriously beautiful. It was touching to read the changes these characters undergo with time. I loved it. Unlike most books I buy digital copies of, I am getting the physical copy and I already bought the audiobook as well. ["

Dani KeithAn outstanding read
"Lily was told on many occasions that she was going to Hell, so when she died she decided she was going on her own terms. Bel, demon prince and a general of Hell, never figured he’d find someone to match him and he’d be alone for a long time. Boy was he wrong. Throw in a cute kid in a shark onesie with issues all her own, and you have the makings of a great story. Which what I’ve written so far, with the exception or the kid, you’re probably thinking that this is just another romance set in a different world, if you will, but considering this is the afterlife, you could be right. I will tell you that you would be dead wrong (pun intended). This book is a love story, but it deals with so much more. There are things discussed that happened off page when Lily and Sharkie were alive. There’s also conflicts, PTSD, and humor and snark to last a lifetime. More than anything there’s found family, lots of love, and the realization that nothing will ever be perfect, and that is okay. You groove to your own beat and heal in your own time. I have to say that this is an outstanding book! I was hooked on Lily and Bel’s story from the start. I hated putting it down when real life called, and I loved picking it back up because I would become completely immersed in the story again. Sharkie is the cutest, and both Lily and Bel kick ass. The laughter didn’t stop, but there were also serious moments, too. It put a few things in a different perspective for me as well and I occasionally like when that happens. If you are still unsure if you’ll like this book, head over to one of the socials, look this author up, and watch the Hells Bells people in action. It’s what made me want to pick up the book to know more about the characters. ["
