The funniest thing I’ve read in a long time

"I’ve been in a reading slump for a long time which was concerning since I’ve been an avid reader since childhood. With the craze in fae romantasy, I found myself burnt out. "Although I’d seen the tik toks posted by the author, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. That being said, it was both exactly and nothing like I thought it would be, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It had all of the usual tropes (as advertised) but made fun of them while simultaneously weaving both blatant and subtle pop-culture and movie references throughout. I found myself both laughing and shaking my head while reading. The ending surprised me (but maybe not?) and I love the fact that more adventures with these characters are possible.
