"This chapter in the Beast Shifters saga is sexy like nothing else in the world. The tension is palpable, and the bonding between Simone and Lucien is slow at its most exquisite. Simone is a different character than Mera and Lale, she's more composed and diplomatic than Mera, but equally feisty and brutal. What I immediately liked is that Simone starts this book accepting her feelings for Lucien. She doesn't fight it, she doesn't lie to herself, she just doubts reciprocation on the vampire's part. I loved our author's ability to create distinctly different characters in a paranormal world that gets complex without losing its meaning or straying from the path of the plot. It's been a long time since I've read a long saga where each book has found its place in me. This story will be always memorable. I loved its originality and freshness. I am a new fan of Jaymin's. I found myself reading most of the night and that is no small accomplishment, my friends. "Oh boy was this book HOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! Over the past 4 books we've gotten to know both Lucien and Simone. They are part of the family that we love. This is the 3rd time I've read this book and I realized I hadn't reviewed it. They immediately have so much chemistry and that chemistry grows exponentially until they combust at the end! There is so much "She's mine" and "I'll kill anyone who hurts her"...I LOVE IT! And Simone isn't some wall flower she is strong, sassy, and smart. Such a good couple. The spice is AMAZING!
