About this book

In a world fractured by elemental divides, the kingdoms of Water and Fire exist in a volatile stalemate. Koraine, a restless native of the aquatic realm of Morwen, has always yearned for freedom beyond her borders, but her escape comes with a devastating cost: a political marriage to the crown prince of Abelon. Prince Bellamy has spent his life laboring under the crushing weight of his father’s expectations, viewing his future throne as a duty rather than a prize.

When his father arranges a strategic union with a woman from their bitter rival kingdom, Bellamy’s rigid world begins to fracture. Bound by tradition and forced into proximity, the two are thrust into a treacherous courtship where every interaction is a battlefield. As the threat of war looms, Koraine and Bellamy must navigate a landscape of court intrigue and ancient prejudices.

Their initial resentment is a defensive wall, yet as they are pushed together by circumstances beyond their control, the heat between them proves as dangerous as the elements they command. Caught between their warring kingdoms and their own burgeoning desires, they must decide if their union will be the catalyst for peace or the spark that consumes them both.

Great story line needs some work

"Its a great story line and it has potential to be truly amazing but, to me where suspense and excitement are it to direct. Instead of dragging it out a bit its like “she wanted a drink of Dr. Pepper but knew she couldnt have it but she took a drink anyways.” . The suspense isnt really built and it moves to quick. I really had to think if i skipped some pages. ["

Not what I expected

"Honestly, the book wasn’t bad. It was very different from what I expected as I didn’t really feel the Zuko/Katara vibes that were advertised. I thought that there should’ve been a little bit more connection between the MC’s and their elemental abilities, because it seemed like a pretty big plot point when I bought the book. But of course, I’m not the author. Other than that, the book seemed a bit rushed and the ending was very condensed in a way that wasn’t particularly enjoyable. And there were a couple holes in the timeline that just didn’t really make sense to me as a reader. There were quite a few typos and punctuation errors, but nothing major. Also, there is a couple explicit scenes that I wasn’t aware were in the book. I don’t know if the content wasn’t rated or if I just didn’t look close enough, but I didn’t find anything saying that there was explicit content prior to purchasing. I don’t really have a huge problem with it, as I enjoy a spicy romance as much as the next person, but I’m not a fan of explicitly sexual books. So, I was disappointed to find such content in the book and not have been aware of it beforehand. Other than all those critiques, I really did enjoy the overall plot and execution of this book and I am looking forward to potentially purchasing the second when it gets released! ["

Cute little enemies to lovers must read!

"This book was wonderfully written and the way that it actually gives the characters backgrounds and an enemies to lovers feel that I know a lot of people that wanted to see Zuko and Katara get this same kind of romantic journey can finally scratch that itch that the last airbender derprived us of.
